Tell us a little about the volunteer: Diamond V helps throughout the year in so many ways. They participate in the Greater CR Community Foundation with monetary donations, they have campaigns for United Way, American Heart, American Cancer, Junior Achievement and so many others. They also do a lot for hunger in our community. They had a booth at last year’s farmers market to educate about hunger and participate with HACAP to provide Backpacks with food to children at Van Buren Elementary School. For a small, family owned manufacturing company in Cedar Rapids, Iowa they make a very large positive impact on the community. They helped with a nationwide campaign for hunger education with the help of a famous Country Music Band.
