For this week’s “50 Faces of Volunteerism” spotlight, Volunteer Iowa would like to highlight the great work of employees from Lynch Ford Chevrolet in Mt. Vernon, Iowa.

Lynch Ford Chevrolet has been a consistent supporter of the Young Parents Network for over four years. They recently received the United Way of East Central Iowa Outstanding Business Volunteer Award for their support of the YPN “Stuff the Truck” event collecting toys for children in the Eastern Iowa area, as well as supplying meals for YPN families during the Thanksgiving season. Employees also teach basic car maintenance to YPN participants and provide financial education when families purchase a car.

Thank you all for your great service!
